Sunday, April 03, 2005 | Leaders Course Camp... Dead Beat Sorry havent been updating these days cos I was soooo busy.

Bought an ipod(20gb) recently. phew finally =p

Juz back from Leaders' Course Camp from Pulau Ubin. Shall summurise it below.

-First Night-

We were to start preparing for a war game where we would throw water bombs at each other. well there are 6 check points where they would be playing at scattered around the island. my check point is special because it is not for water bomb throwing. we are going to do the Bean splitting game. blah. I rented a bike thinking I would be bored. Man its only $5 for a day! woo!

Very funny... my check point is at a basketball court with no basketball posts...! Started cycling around the place trying to do some bikes stunts.(dunno how -_-)

I modified the game. Cos we are going to mix thousands of the four kinds of beans together, they will be taking like decades to seperate them if need be. So I thought of scattering 30 beans around the place and they have to find 20 in 5mins time. If they managed to do that, they will oni have to seperate out 100 beans of each type. woo hoo, more than an hr of waiting, the first group arrived. they managed to do everything in like 20 mins. then something nobody wanted. It started to rain heavily... I was soked to the bones but I still did cycling around the basketball court lol. Its so fun and cooling woo hoo! went back to basecamp for a change of clothes and my lunch.

After that the game commenced and I changed my checkpoint. The terrain is harder to paddle cos of the steep grounds and my shirt was dirtied by the spirting mud. the game ended after like 2hrs and no body came to my place...

We preceeded to Nordin Beach where we set up our new basecamp. Tooks a few pics of the seaside and sky.

After dinner, we set up tents. At night IT was time for the next activity. The cadets are going for a Night Walk! muahha. I am part of a team of three who are going to decorate the starting point(hut) with Neon Sticks. yeah ended up oni me doing the job. Everywhere is so dark! The cadets are blindfolded and one of them would lead them the way to the hut in a line.(hands over shoulder) thatz where they are told ghost stories. soon one by one they are sent to walk down a very dark long stretch of road alone. I think its about 500-700m. Some of us, Specialist hid at the bushes waiting to scare them. I was told some walked even faster and some ran lol. but one bloody indian guy laughed at my fren instead... I wanna kill him... was so bored at the hut I decided to play with the Neon Sticks. hahaz.

It was late and we slept in the tents at around 12am till 5am next morning.

-Last Day-

nth much today at ubin. we went back at around 9am

bye bye Ubin.

At sch we started washing all the ground sheets and stuff. after that, lol. we started playing water bombs.I was hit in the head once man and shot with a water hose. drenched all over again... kaoz... but was fun lol. finally able to pack and go home. wad a fun but tiring camp.
